Position Purpose
An integrator, is tasked with making multiple elements work together as one cohesive system. A key technical role, an integrator also has essential responsibilities in project coordination, especially focused on project sites around the world. As the final step in the project process, integration is key to high-quality delivery before system handover to the client. An integrator exists on the uniquely TAIT line between technology and art, helping to create the best shows and spectacles in the world.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates integration of disparate elements into one cohesive project.
Comprises part of installation team, ultimately implementing technology on site for the customer. - Fulfills shop testing and setup responsibilities, especially for complex elements.
- Communicates frequently with rest of project team about tasks and risks.
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of all integration-related technical fields.
- Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, and commission automation system components, software, logic, and front-end systems following best practices and safety protocols.
- Works closely with service & support on post-project work.
- Promotes and contributes to internal standards and processes.
- Stays well organized and pays close attention to details.
- Acts as support layer, advocate, and coach for less experienced Integrators.
- Takes on the complicated mechanical elements of projects as well as troubleshoot problems within Mechanical and basic Control systems.
- Work within a global team of technical support professionals delivering best in industry support services to our clients.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required.
- Perform assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company.

Minimum Qualifications
To perform the essential responsibilities, individuals must have the following level of education and
experience, or equivalent combination. Additionally, the following certifications, knowledge, skills, or
physical requirements are necessary for the position.
- Formal Technical Background.
- Theater/Entertainment Experience.
- Entertainment rigging and components
- The ability to work from a custom set of drawings to create bespoke products.
- Ability to repair and replace complex mechanical assemblies.
- Excellent written skills.
- Ability to Travel & Work in “Entertainment Conditions”.
- Based in Lititz, PA.
- Right to Work in the US.
- Willingness to travel on average 92 days per year project dependent.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to frequently walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, stoop, and kneel each day. Specific requirements are:
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift or move 70 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Must be able to pull or push 140 lbs.
Work conditions of the role are:
- Work conditions may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions.
- Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work within or visit areas where required. This includes, safety glasses, reflective vest, ear
plugs, safety toed shoes, and other PPE as required by the location. - Ability to work in “entertainment conditions” including a wide variety of working places such as shops, backstage, catwalks at height, construction areas, theme parks, and cruise ships.
